Rights evidence in an agent workflow

Choose the purpose, preserve evidence and keep the ingestion decision in your application. Framework-neutral examples use the same bounded buyer adapter.

RAG and ingestion gates

Call before adding selected supported URLs to a corpus. Use ai-index for indexing, then separately ai-input for model context if needed. UNKNOWN or unsupported results hold ingestion.

Research agents

Evaluate selected sources before summarization or model context with ai-input. Store the verified resource, purpose and evaluation time alongside provenance. Do not quote every search result.

Crawlers

Crawl authorization is separate. Use your robots/access policy before retrieval, then the actual downstream paid purpose before ingestion. Do not send crawl as a paid quote purpose.

One reusable buyer adapter

Check live coverage → prepare one bounded quote → inspect availability/preview → verify the signed offer → obtain buyer-controlled payment authorization → persist the encrypted checkpoint → redeem and verify report, receipt and delivery binding. After ambiguity, resume the same checkpoint; never sign a replacement payment blindly.

The examples expose no wallet key interface and make no payment when imported or run in read-only mode. Supply your own bounded signer only in a private buyer application.
